I sort of understand the guidelines now but they seem even more silly now that I do. Cold weather is only a problem if you’re a pansy. And short growing season? BS. There’s food to be harvested in the mitten nearly year round (365 days if you count meat and fish) and who has never heard of a root cellar? Maroons.
I concur, born a Michigan redneck, this is where I’ll die. Got all the fresh water I can drink a stone throw away.
