To me, Steyn has a sharper wit and is a bit more entertaining, but Greenfield has unmatched insight, analytical ability, and an extremely broad knowledge base, both current and historical. I cannot picture Steyn writing an article on the demise of the Village Voice, for example.
Generally I come away from Greenfield's politcal/social analyses feeling more informed than from Steyn's. Just my opinion.
