Republicans and Conservatives looking for a truly pro-family candidate on Primary Day, Thursday, Sept. 13, will vote for Roy McDonald. Sen. McDonald is not only the proven friend of families in our community, he is the No. 1 leader whose dedication and vision have helped our families to a better life.

As senator, Roy has continued his dedication to the well-being of families, especially by sponsoring and seeing approved major legislation to assist individuals with disabilities.
Sen. Roy McDonald has been doing right by our community, our families, for a long time. Lets keep him on the job.

Sounds like McDonald is marching under that Rainbow Flag, but our flag is red, white, and blue.
You might want to consider writing a letter to the editor to this newspaper, because The Saratogian is from Roy McDonald’s district. The paper, to their credit, does publish letters from other towns.
You might also want to consider commenting after this letter to the editor.
btw, I doubt if it’s the newspaper, but someone managing the comments is putting the most favorable comment which helps McDonald to the top, ignoring times of posting.
How does McDonald stand on polygamous families? That’s what I want to know.
yes, conservatives should be much too busy getting rid of these 4 senators to do anything for the NY GOP. I regret that I cannot spend time in Poughkeepsie getting rid of that dirt bag. We need a report on the status of the 4.
What an infested party inside crowd.
Same in CT. We only support our local conservative candidates, Let the CT GOP scum worry about their upper ticket “moderates”. Vile scum is what vile scum does.
“How does McDonald stand on polygamous families? Thats what I want to know.”
TODAY the gay so-called marriage people will say: “Oh no, we don’t support polygamy.” But when polygamy is an issue, these leftist types will be the first ones to support polygamy, and call it equality.
We both live in liberal/moderate states, and maybe we should move, but we choose to fight! They have ruined our states, but we need to take our states back.
Me and Paladino are helping out where we can in this race and others.
“Me and Paladino are helping out where we can in this race and others.”
Thank you - so glad to hear that.
Kathy Marchione has a great chance of winning, because she has momentum on her side. Look what she has done in the last month:
“Saratoga County Clerk Kathy Marchione has outraised and outspent incumbent Sen. Roy McDonald over the last month, a campaign finance disclosure shows.”
What’s up with this? The Congressional primary was separate from the state primary? NY is gonna have had 3 separate primary elections this year?
“..NY is gonna have had 3 separate primary elections this year?”
Yup, pretty expensive, huh. NY politicians enjoy spending other people’s money.
Indeed
Just wait for the beastiality crowd!
We need to replace McDonald with a moral, hard-working politician, and that would be Kathy Marchione!
I’m seeing tons of lawn signs for her, and if she wins, it will send a message to Cuomo, as well as other liberals, including liberal Republicans, like McDonald.
Cuomo’s most important project - EVEN BEFORE THE ECONOMY - was gay so-called marriage.
Where are the NYers who said they would vote out the 4 Republicans, who voted for same-sex so-called marriage? Pro-traditional marriage Kathy Marchione needs your help! The primary - Marchione vs. McDonald - is on Sept. 13.
Part of my email from NationforMarriage.org:
“Recently, I read a letter to the editor from a local New York
> paper-The Record from Troy, NY-that posed a great question. The
> author said he’s been receiving mailings from Senator Roy
> McDonald’s campaign trumpeting his accomplishments in office, but
> with one conspicuous omission from the list-namely, the Senator’s
> vote to legalize same-sex marriage. The author thought this was
> strange, since McDonald had claimed that taking political favors
> and money in exchange for his vote on this issue was “the right
> thing to do.” If it was the right thing to do, why not celebrate
> it and advertise it?
>
> Well, the reason is clear: McDonald, like his fellow Senator Mark
> Grisanti, knows that imposing same-sex marriage on the people of
> New York was the wrong thing to do-both ethically and
> politically. And these corrupt politicians are hoping voters
> forget their betrayal, so they won’t have to face the music on
> Primary Day this Thursday. But voter’s haven’t forgotten, and
> they’re cuing up the orchestra to play these clowns off the
> stage! snip”
