Reason #33 to ignore your blog:

Really bad grammar.

Example:

She doesn’t explain why the leading developers of every form of alternative energy however is Shell, BP and Exxon.

"Is" should be "are". Developers are.

She also doesn’t seem to understand that “oil” isn’t largely used to generate electricity or is competitive with wind energy. Coal does.

"Does" should be "is". Faulty contrast.

If you can't even master English I don't see why you should be trusted on anything else.

You certainly should not be paid any hits for such poorly crafted product.

I should point out, though, that I noticed the same thing.

I’ve noticed that there is such a push to get “product” out there that even the NYT sometimes seems to be using seventh graders to write and edit there stories. Or is it they’re?

My mother was an English teacher - as in she immigrated from Great Britain at the age of 12. She supplemented her retirement income by tutoring super nerds and engineering types in English. Those types seem to find writing a challenge while advanced calculus is easy. It has also been my experience (married to a high IQ super nerd engineer type who is one of 3 brothers cut from the same cloth) that their thoughts move too fast for language. That's why they tend to talk in tech shorthand.
Give this guy a break - he did a good job of presenting his arguments.
I'm sure he's going to contact you for grammar assistance the next time he writes something.

My biggest problem with him is that he never responds to his own threads. That is a zotting offense in my book and reason #34 to ignore his blog.
