In one Los Angeles Times article, Starbucks was asked to comment, but they declined to side with supporting the event.

So Starbucks refused to support the Gay/Lesbian community on this, according to this article.

So I find this stance by Starbucks interesting...

It wasn’t heavily advertised because they didn’t want a backlash. My daughter’s boyfriend insisted they go.
