Judicial Watch once again outs the truth while trying to force the DOJ to pay their attorney's fees. The DOJ said there was no reason for the agency to pay attorney's fees as there was no evidence of any political interference:

“none of the records produced in this litigation evidenced any political interference whatsoever in” how the DOJ handled the New Black Panther Party case" said the DOJ

The documents reveal that political appointees within DOJ were conferring about the status and resolution of the New Black Panther Party case in the days preceding the DOJ’s dismissal of claims in that case, which would appear to contradict Assistant Attorney General Perez’s testimony that political leadership was not involved in that decision. Surely the public has an interest in documents that cast doubt on the accuracy of government officials’ representations regarding the possible politicization of agency decision-making.

To whet your memory, three New Black Panther Party thugs stood outside a Philadelphia polling place on the day of the 2008 presidential election, one wielding a nightstick. Video of NBPP's and an exchange with a reporter is widely available.

A voter intimidation suit was filed against the three thugs, Jerry Jackson, King Shamir Shabazz and NBPP leader Malik Zulu Shabazz.  For five months, court dates were set and for five months the three New Black Panthers blew them off - didn't respond, didn't show up.

A judge issued a default judgement against the three men. Then the DOJ Civil Rights Division stepped in and dismissed the case with no explanation.

J. Christian Adams was a DOJ attorney working on the case at that time. When the dismissal came down, he resigned and he talked.

Mr. Bartle Bull, a longtime civil rights activist and former aide to Sen. Robert F. Kennedy’s 1968 presidential campaign gave a sworn statement dated April 7 that he was serving in November as a credentialed poll watcher in Philadelphia when he saw the three uniformed Panthers confront and intimidate voters with a nightstick. Mr. Bull’s testimony was not considered and he was not contacted by the Department of Justice:

“In my opinion, the men created an intimidating presence at the entrance to a poll,” he declared. “In all my experience in politics, in civil rights litigation and in my efforts in the 1960s to secure the right to vote in Mississippi … I have never encountered or heard of another instance in the United States where armed and uniformed men blocked the entrance to a polling location.” ~ Bartle Bull

Bull's testimony was not allowed into court and the DOJ refused to let agency attorneys testify when subpoenaed.

Rep. Frank R. Wolf (R-VA), a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee was prevented from interviewing the “front-line” lawyers who brought the charges.

If showing a weapon, making threatening statements and wearing paramilitary uniforms in front of polling station doors does not constitute voter intimidation, at what threshold of activity would these laws be enforceable? Mr. Wolf asked

In the photos above, the short guy is King Shamir Shabazz who openly hates Whites and the U.S. with a white hot vengance. The tall guy, Jerry Jackson, is a credentialed Democrat poll worker in Philadelphia's 14th Ward. After the incident, Jackson retained his credentials.

And who is the Malik Shabazz who records show visited the White House RESIDENCE quarters on July 25, 2009, two months after the voter intimidation case was dismissed. The White Refuses to disclose.

Yes, and since these lawyers were acting outside the scope of their employment by failing to represent our interests in court, they should be forced to personally foot the bill. It is an extreme outrage that they will use our taxpayer dollars to pay this court imposed assessment.
