The Muslim Brotherhood is the parent corporation that first extended and financed the start-up that was to become al-Qaeda.
As al-Qaeda gets pounded back into a corner, the Muslim Brotherhood is taking back the franchise, and running it as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
The Muslim Brotherhood is not an ally of traditional American interests. The Arab Spring is just a test run for the real power struggle to come within Islam.
The Shi’ites also have a similar objective, to establish a Worldwide Caliphate. Once Europe is subjected to Shar’ia law, the toppling of one domino after another becomes a more real probability.
Then the two Islamic factions can meet head-on, for ultimate dominance. In the end, there can be only one.
