While Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal did not make it on the national talk shows today, the first Sunday over the past two weeks in which he was not a featured guest, one can bet he will receive his share of television coverage this week. In fact, on Monday, he will be embracing his possible future running mate when Mitt Romney visits the state on a campaign run.
Jindal has been running across the nation in recent months, becoming very visible in campaign jaunts of his own, first supporting Rick Perry and then Mitt Romney plus helping GOP leaders and organizations win their respective races in their states.

I like Bobby, but, I don’t think that this is his year.
Romney’s in a double bind situation. If he picks a woman (Condi) or a minority (Condi, Jindal) they’ll say it was a token choice, but if he picks a white male they’ll call it a plain vanilla, “white bread” ticket. So he should just pick the best person for the job and not worry about what the media thinks, because they’ll just crap all over him no matter what.
Personally I think Jindal would be a great choice, but we’ll see I guess.
Jindal or Ryan seem to be the two viable choices; however, Jindal is the one with executive experience both in Baton Rouge and in Washington, DC. Plus Jindal is a genuine conservative right-winger. Ryan cannot live down the vote for TARP et al. Nod to Jindal.
Jindal would be a good pick as would Nikki Haley or Jan Brewer, or Col West.
It’s just too bad that Jindal is not Constitutionally qualified. Same with Rubio. Of course Mr. obama has the same problem.
“IF” Romney selects a running mate that is not qualified under the Constitution then I will be forced to vote 3d party or not vote for President.
I take my oath to the Constitution very seriously and refuse to dishonor it.
