Prayers for her. It takes courage to take on the liberals in the MSM. In our culture, she will be denigrated and mocked for making a big deal about the sexual content of Comso. She will be trashed, as apologetic liberals say that Cosmo isn’t nearly in the same category as Playboy, Hustler, etc. She will be accused of being some sort of prude and urged to get with the program, that times have changed, etc. etc.
But, the fact that a supposedly mainstream women’s magazine is full of information and approval of all sorts of sex behavior, just goes to show how far the culture has fallen.
It’s been sitting at checkout stands week after week with the same crap on the cover since the 1960’s. I’d think most people are too bored to give it a look by now.
I’d be careful about laws telling publications how they have to package though. It’ll end up with one forcing the Limbaugh Letter into a welded tempered steel casing.

I would disagree with her statement that, “This publication has steadily declined”, in that it has long been foul (since it stopped being a family magazine in the 1960s), a textual version of Playboy and Penthouse for women, just less focused on the graphic imagery like Playgirl, whose readership is divided between older women and homosexual men, the “wrong” demographic for advertisers wanting to market to younger women.
But trying to create a popular magazine alternative for young women is not easy.
From college age to about 30, women’s needs and wants are “all over the board”, which makes a theme magazine particularly difficult, as while some parts will appeal to most readers, the majority of the rest of the subject matter will not.
This might be why Cosmopolitan falls back on crude sexuality most of the time. They have no clue as to what would sell magazines to most of their demographic.
So, in the final analysis, this writer is correct. It is little more than text porn, and will likely never be any better, just worse, so it is unsuitable for children and should be treated like Playboy with opaque covers, behind the counter.
The U.S. is no more different than Sodom and Gomorrah now a days...thanks to the majority of voters who think entitlements and having entertainment be a technical Roman Colosseum — yes - yes - let the masses be thrilled all the while we strip them of their freedoms!!!
