The House of Representatives just voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in criminal contempt of Congress for stonewalling the House Oversight Committee's efforts to get to the bottom of what occurred in the horrifically planned and ultimately deadly "fast and furious" program.
While the House Democratic leadership and their allies have attempted to paint this as nothing more then pure petty politics, the roll call from today's vote reveals something interesting... 17 Democrats voted to hold Holder in contempt - destroying the media's partisan narrative, and possibly giving more Democrats wiggle room to also oppose the embattled Attorney General.
Here are the 17 Democrats who voted to hold Holder in contempt:
Jason Altmire
Good news!
Were there any republicans that voted against the contempt charge?
Holder’s response was typical.
Whitey conspiracy to disenfranchise minorities.
2 republicans voted against.
Do you know which ones?
I can speculate on one, but the second one know idea.

LaTourette of Ohio was one of them.
How many of these democrats up for reelection?
Thanks.
I figured it out.
Virginia Rep. Scott Rigell and Ohio Rep. Steve LaTourette
All house members are up for election every two years, did you mean “safe districts”?
It is meaningless unless they impeach and arrest him. Hundreds of Mexican and American murders are on his hands. I’m tired of an occasional bone being tossed our way. These freaks have destroyed this country and the republicans have done nothing of value except to huff and puff occasionally to keep their base energized.
It was actually fun to watch the debate. Between the Angry Black Caucus and the Ghost of Congress past (John Dingel) it was actually quite fun.
Nazi Pelosi sounded like she’d been celebrating the supreme court decision.
How about the the murdered Mexican and American citizens who were disenfranchised by murder? Of course if Holder had his way he would disenfranchise all whitey in that way.
John Dingel got caught lying. He said he had had several meetings with the Terry’s, but had actually only sent a condolence card for Brian Terry’s funeral. He then said his office is currently working on setting up a meeting with the family.
Its pretty bad that a congressman from Terry’s own state can’t be bothered but Canada sent an official Color guard for the funeral.
“LaTourette of Ohio was one of them.”
He didn’t mean to! He has LaTourett’s Syndrome. He couldn’t help himself! 8^)
I think Ross and Boren are not running for re-election. Their seats are up though.
Two from MN...
Republicans _ Reps. Scott Rigell of Virginia and Steven LaTourette of Ohio _ joined other Democrats in voting No.
