Probably about four years ago, there was a story on the national news about a Jewish settlement that was ceded by the Government to the "other guys"..
The folks left their greenhouses, water systems, and all the piping so the new "occupants" could grow crops..
Well, the new occupants, started tearing apart anything metal, the pipes, greenhouse supports, etc to sell it all for scrap metal..Then they trashed the wooden growing tables, and the corrugated plastic walls.
It was disgusting to watch. Morons. Talk about self defeating behavior.
"Oh, look, here's a well, and irrigation system. Let's destroy it and sell it for scrap metal."
