The bag in question is probably only worth 300.00 or so.

The 100,000 that was paid for it still exists...someone has that cash.

If they had actually destroyed 100,000 dollars worth of something then this would be disgraceful. Like suppose they destroyed 100,000 worth of fresh eggs.

What they actually did is spend 100,000 dollars to create a special effect....what’s the big deal?

And how much was the value of the cars trashed during the "cash for clunkers" program? Where was this author then? Unlike this handbag stunt, that program actually destroyed goods of use to the working poor.
