Meet the Radical DOJ Lawyer Forcing Florida to Keep Foreigners on the Voter Rolls
PJ Media ^ | June 1, 2012 | J. Christian Adams

Posted on 06/01/2012 1:46:32 PM PDT by jazusamo

Yesterday, Eric Holder’s Voting Section ordered Florida to stop purging foreigners from the voter rolls. Two weeks ago, Florida found 53,000 dead voters registered to vote. Florida has also found non-citizens on the voter rolls and Secretary of State Ken Detzner has started the process of removing them.

Not so fast, says Eric Holder’s DOJ.

In a letter to Detzner, the DOJ says to stop removing foreigners from the rolls. The Voting Section makes a dubious argument under Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act, a law the Obama administration has refused to enforce because of ideological opposition. The letter notes that Elise Shore is the attorney behind the letter.

Eureka!

Elise Shore

Recall that PJ Media produced the Every Single One series that exposed the partisan DOJ hiring practices and the radicalism of the DOJ Civil Rights Division lawyers hired by the Obama administration.

What do we know about Elise Shore from the installment about the Voting Section?

Elise Shore . Ms. Shore came to the Voting Section by way of the “Southern Coalition for Social Justice,” where she worked as a legal consultant focusing on “voting rights, immigrant rights, and other civil rights and social justice issues.” The far left-wing positions of this group are nicely summarized on its website. Ms. Shore also made a $1,000 contribution to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.

Before joining the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, she worked for more than two years as a Regional Counsel for MALDEF [Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund]. There, she was an outspoken critic of Georgia’s voter ID law and well as its proof of citizenship requirements for voter registration (which, incidentally, have been found to be non-discriminatory by a federal court) and described how heartened she was that the Civil Rights Division had objected to the registration law under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act. But her joy must have been fleeting: the Division later capitulated and withdrew its objection after Georgia filed a federal declaratory judgment action. It will be interesting to see if Shore can put her politics to the side in her role as the Voting Section’s point of contact for all redistricting submissions in the state of Florida.

It looks like Ms. Shore wasn’t able to set aside MALDEF-style radicalism, even after she started working for the taxpayers of the United States. Sadly, this private radicalism has metastasized into radical open-borders public policy. Not only does the DOJ stop states from enforcing their laws pertaining to illegal immigration, the DOJ is forcing Florida to keep non-citizens on the voter rolls. We have entered strange and dangerous times.

Related FL voting news:

“WASHINGTON, D.C. - A federal judge in Tallahassee has put the brakes on a key part of Florida's new election law that U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson and many others have been fighting hard against since Gov. Rick Scott signed it nearly a year ago."

"Florida news outlets are reporting today that U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle has struck down a provision of the Florida law that imposed “harsh” restrictions on third-party groups that register new voters. The judge's order said that a 48-hour deadline for such groups to turn in new voter registration forms is “harsh and impractical,” according to The Palm Beach Post, Tampa Bay Times and other media.”

In 2011, the FL legislature passed sweeping voting, public employee, public education reforms. Much of it has been found unconstitutional by either the 5-2 radical FL Supreme Court or the federal district court in Tallahassee.

Now, a DOJ social justice streetwalker ordered my State to stop cleaning up voter rolls. The former soft tyranny is turning hard.

Ignore the Do(un)J. When the “news” media ask about it, just say, “We can’t ignore the law, and if the DoJ won’t enforce it, we, the states, must.”

It sure is and Obama and his thugs have sped that up tremendously.

I believe the time will come when these leftists will rue the day they took that path.

We have entered strange and dangerous times. Third World radicalism---- calculated to undermine US ntl security---- has metastasized into open-borders US public policy. Not only does the USDOJ stop states from enforcing illegal immigration laws, the DOJ is forcing Florida to keep non-citizens on voter rolls.

Meet the Radical DOJ Lawyer Forcing Florida to Keep Foreigners on the Voter Rolls: "Elise Shore" is just one of her identities---and she's dressed like she has a night job on the DC streets.

THIS IS HER STORY----She came to the Voting Section by way of the “Southern Coalition for Social Justice,” where she worked as a legal consultant focusing on “voting rights, immigrant rights, and other civil rights and social justice issues” ........ and worked using several identities to pocket multiple paychecks.

Under one identity---as "Ms. Shore" ---she contributed $1000 to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.

Before joining the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, Shore worked for more than two years as a Regional Counsel for MALDEF [Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund] as an outspoken critic of Georgia’s voter ID law and well as its proof of citizenship requirements for voter registration (which, incidentally, have been found to be non-discriminatory by a federal court).

She's said how heartened she was that the US Civil Rights Division had objected to the registration law under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act. But her joy must have been fleeting: the Division later capitulated and withdrew its objection after Georgia filed a federal declaratory judgment action.

It will be interesting to see if "Shore" can calm her salivating Third World taskmasters---and put her politics to the side in her role as the US Voting Section’s point of contact for all redistricting submissions in the state of Florida.

NOTE WELL "Ms. Shore" wasn’t able to set aside her obeisance to the third World----and her MALDEF-style radicalism-----even after she started working for the US govt, and got paid by the taxpayers of the United States.

53,000 Dead Voters Found in Florida / by J. Christian Adams / pjmedia.com.

...... Florida election officials are set to announce that the secretary of state has discovered and purged up to 53,000 dead voters from the voter rolls in Florida. How could 53,000 dead voters have sat on the polls for so long? Simple. Because Florida hadn’t been using the best available data revealing which voters have died.

Florida is now using the nationwide Social Security Death Index for determining which voters should be purged because they have died.

Here is the bad news. Most states aren’t using the same database that Florida is. In fact, I have heard reports that some election officials won’t even remove voters even when they are presented with a death certificate. That means that voter rolls across the nation still are filled with dead voters, even if Florida is leading the way in detecting aBut surely people aren’t voting in the names of dead voters, the voter fraud deniers argue. Wrong.

Consider the case of Lafayette Keaton. Keaton not only voted for a dead person in Oregon, he voted for his dead son. Making Keaton’s fraud easier was Oregon’s vote by mail scheme, which has opened up gaping holes in the integrity of elections.

The incident in Oregon just scratches the surface of the problem. Massachusetts and Mississippi are but two other examples of the dead rising on election day.Florida should be applauded for taking the problem seriously, even if Eric Holder’s Justice Department and many state election officials don’t.

LINK AT WEB SITEL July 2010, Lawlessness at the DOJ: Voting Section Told Not To Enforce Purging the Dead or Ineligible from Voting Rolls

================================================

BLOGGER The group “Truth the Vote” and TEA Party activists should get on this, and hammer on it as loudly as possible..... eliminating the possibility of vote fraud puts the Dems in a worse position.

We know we need to get enough votes to overcome the Ohaha team's plans by attacking the problem from multiple angles to get a clean and untainted victory and cripple the Democrat led effort to steal the elections:

purging voter lists of the dead,

insisting on voter ID,

placing multiple layers of scrutineers around polling stations

After the election, pressure the newly elected House, Senate and State legislatures to take firm action to clean up the system:

reduce the loopholes that allow voter fraud,

passing voter ID laws,

eliminating “motor voter” laws,

eliminating gerrymandered districts.

This story was a topic on KLBJ in Austin yesterday, and there were several legal Hispanic immigrants calling in who are really ticked of at even thinking of letting illegals vote.

One business owner had several of his words bleeped on the seven second delay. This is a losing issue for holder and the won. We are talking “Keeping Austin Weird” callers.

Well, the illegals don’t even want my dear Hispanic friends and neighbors Mark and Sandra expressing their feeling about their status. Both are 5th or 6th generation legal immigrants and neither speak or understand much Spanish. Don’t even get Sandra started when she has had a drink or two. . . . .

REFERENCE Zeta hit man details killings by savage Zeta drug cartels
mySA.com | January 24, 2012 | Jason Buch
FR Posted by SwinneySwitch

LAREDO, TEXAS — A former hit man for the savage Zetas drug cartel which operates openly in Texas, calmly related to jurors his role in killings on both sides of the border, testifying Monday in the drug conspiracy trial of a man prosecutors say was also a hired killer.

From the witness stand in U.S. District Judge Micaela Alvarez's courtroom here, Rosalio Reta, a US citizen, pointed to Gerardo Castillo Chavez, 25, and identified him as a fellow Zeta.

Pressing his fingertips together and speaking in a slow, soft voice, Reta, 22, a US citizen using multiple forged identities, told jurors that he had been in a team of hit men headed by Gabriel Cardona, an admitted Zeta who has pleaded guilty to five murders that occurred in Texas in 2005 and 2006.

Reta, a US citizen using multiple forged identities, said he was the triggerman in the second murder, killing Moises Garcia, a member of the Mexican Mafia prison gang, in December 2005. “We just waited for him to come out and as soon as he came out, we blocked the way and I got down and killed him,” Reta, a US citizen using multiple firged identities, said.

Reta, a U.S. citizen usuing multiple forged identities, received national media attention after the teenager was deported from Mexico in 2006 at age 17. He's known for his distinctive facial tattoos and boasts that he became a killer when he was 13 years old.

Nah. Nothing that *interesting*. I had to drive past certain streets for various Constrction Projects in Chi and surrounding suburbs and always took the same route to and from the office once I found the fastest way.

Some of these were fairly big buildings and the weekly meetings would go on for a year or more. So natch in areas where there were Hookers working you saw the same women over time.
