Barack Obama listed his birthplace as kenya because that is where he wsa born. Only when he saw that maybe he could run for president that he changed that. If not, let him show that he was born here. He cannot!

As a research associate in its financial services division, he edited Financing Foreign Operations, a global reference service, and wrote for Business International Money Report, a weekly financial newsletter. His responsibilities included "interviewing business experts, researching trends in foreign exchange, following market developments. . . . He wrote about currency swaps and leverage leases. . . . Obama also helped write financial reports on Mexico and Brazil.
It is also known that Business International Corporation was a front company for the CIA.
Most of us agree he used his Kenyan citizenship to game the system or he may have claimed being Indonesian.

There is sure a lot of ink, time and energy being expended to say, ‘Sure, Obama copped a huge, major, fundamental lie, but don’t worry—you can trust everything he said *after* that. It was just that one lie at the beginning; everything else he said is true.’
How does this make sense on any level? A person capable of lying on Obama’s order of magnitude is not going to suddenly turn honest. He lies pathologically—and that includes everything he’s said about HI. What’s that old saying, fool me once...?
People seem to be begging Obama to fool them over and over. When will they stop covering for him, and simply ask the Malignant Narcissist to come clean???

NO he was NOT a garden variety American black kid. He was raised by a white mother and then white grandparents. He lived in Indonesia and then Hawaii. He didn’t live in the continental USA until college.
He forgets that obama forged the birth certificate that he showed to the public. No reason to do that if he had one on file.

I agree. Americans are suckers for giving freebies to the downtrodden, so why not pose as one? Obama's a complete fraud in every other way, so why not lie about this to get another free pass?

Probably because Bakke didn't actually change anything. So far as I can figure out, the decision made some sharp observations about formalized quotas, but left vague, generalized racial preferences in place.
A lot of the enthusiasm for foreign students came later, when colleges realized that wealthy foreigners could and would pay full tuition. There may have been some scrambling in colleges in 1978 about what Bakke would mean and what to do about it, but I don't remember any great push to get foreign students.
The Kenyan thing did help Obama. Being the first African-American President of the Harvard Law Review (president being something different from the editor?) may be a feather in someone's cap, but it wouldn't get a book contract. It was the whole mixed-race/foreign angle, the Kenya-Kansas thing (even though Kansas wasn't really relevant) that made Obama sellable in the publishing world (even when he didn't have experience writing for publication). Somewhere along the line things got garbled, as they did when they called Obama Sr. the Kenyan Finance Minister.
I’m sure that a certain amount of digging will reveal that, just when the Bakke decision came down, American universities were engaged in some sort...

Just how is author “sure” and why did he not do the digging?!?! Whole premise is based on the Bakke decision, yet no digging on his assumption that universities were making loopholes for foreign students???
Makes sense to you? Doesn’t to me.
I worked at a university from 1979-1981 and was responsible for handling application files for graduate engineering candidates...both foreign and US citizens. There was no active effort on the part of the university to solicit foreign students to fill quotas that I was aware of.
When foreign students applied, there was substantial paperwork involved...I.e, forms and documents that needed to be filed by foreign students from them and their government to our government and the university.
From my experience working with foreign student applications, it seems very unlikely to me that a student could one day simply decide that they wanted to be a “foreign” student.
More plausible that he was born in Kenya.
I think it is highly implausible that he played the system faking foreighn citizenship.
