I’m a little behind on my reading, but your post hit home. This is important enough that you would have thought FreeRepublic would have given you more hits than 7. Great post though.

I live in Los Angeles and they are building government subsidized housing in my neighborhood. I had no say about it, they didn’t tell us it was for Mexican women and their American children, nor did they tell us it was going to be 4 stories tall.

People have trouble believing that there is an educated group, schools and think tanks, actively producing people that want to overthrow the American way of thinking. Capitalism.

Your state and my state are testing grounds to see what the progressives can get away with. If I walk outside, no one would believe that 9 out of 10 people I talk to speak Spanish only. Many schools are 100% English learners and Free Lunch.

Here in Los Angeles, the stated objective is to create housing so dense that cars are useless, we will be forced to live along the transportation corridor living in housing that is a mixture of market rate housing and subsidized housing. Desegregation all over again. The stores will all be mom and pop stores because limited parking will prohibit large volumes of buyers, no more Costco or Home Depot.

I laid a lot of this out in a forum arguing with some guy named Carlos. It might be of use to you.

Thanks for your comment which I just discovered as I’m about to post an other article. So I’ll digest it when I have an chance. The article did generate a lot of readers according to my tracking software, but only a handful left comments which is usually the case. This topic is old news to a lot of Free Republic readers, apparently, but the implementation of Agenda 21 and “sustainable development” is taking place everywhere and we all need to stay on top of it. My latest post is about the 20th anniversary of the 1992 Earth Summit that took place in Rio this week, which turned out to be a big flop. So there is hope.
