On May 2nd, news started coming in that the previous days MayDay Occupy protests in New York had turned violent towards photographers. At first, people viewed the assaults as unplanned, isolated incidents; but since the attacks took place, a piece on Anarchist News has been released to set the record straight: photographers, apparently, are the enemy.

Yeah, that’s really going to work. Being as cameras are so big and bulky these days, and impossible to hide.
“photographers, apparently, are the enemy”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
That’s because to atheists, truth in any form is the enemy
I’m not going to hide my camera. I stand right out there and take my photos in public. The only thing I don’t do is show the faces of children from either conservative or liberal sides. Conservatives are usually proud to have their picture taken with their protest signs.
black-bloc? What the heck is that? I assume it has nothing to do with race.

I wonder if any photographers will consider that this is kinda like how Muslims attack aid groups in the Middle East.
I think google or Microsoft is advertising an app for smartphones that puts your photos on their photo site the instant you click the button to snap the picture.
Something like this with the storage hidden in a backpack would be ideal. http://www.calumetphoto.com/eng/product/canon_wft_e4_iia_5d_wireless_data_transmitters/ec27892
Damn publicity whores think they are all Lady Gaga all of the sudden.
Not that they have anything to hide.
If you like the lines at the DMV, you’ll love Obamacare.
Instruct the police to take photos of participants with plainclothes officers, and enjoy the riot.
There is no excuse for the liberal bastards running our major cities to make so many exceptions for these communist turd$.
Anyone who is still a Democrat after the past 20 years is not worth voting for.
Think "Brown Shirts".
They are the ones that with the black face masks destroying public and private property.
"The End Justifies the Means" types.
I could be wrong, since I’m not an apple person, but I thought the latest iphone already had a camera that automatically saved all pics to the “cloud” or apple itunes or something like that...the instant you take the pic. I think it did it with video too.

I believe that is a function of the iOS not the current hardware, as I think I could tune my iPhone to do that as well (a 4, not 4s).
I think the press should respect their wishes for privacy and take no more pictures of them and publish no further stories about them.
What would be a hell of a lot better is a Colt 45 ACP in the hands of a friend standing next to you. I live in Texas, you live in New York. In New York you can not have a friend next to you with a Colt 45 ACP protecting your back.
