I did finally concede that the existence of human development on earth and the use of energy must contribute to some heat gain on the planet. We do put off a certain number of BTUs per body. Machines do produce heat and we use the atmosphere in radiators and such to exchange the heat and cool things.
BUT, I also said, in the same way we contribute to the lowering of sea levels in the ocean, or the rise of such depending on whether we are in the ocean (displacement) or walking out of the ocean drenched in its water (withdrawl).
Still, either way, the significance of our impact is not measureable and not worthy of any credence. Our contribution to the warming of our planet falls in the same category.
