I once thought calls for civility were intended to bring a general atmosphere of maturity and common purpose to public discourse.
But I learned, and was never taken in by the "It Gets Better" campaign. Like all far-left do-good movements, the intended benefits are starkly one-sided. This Savage guy shows that the real aim is "bullying for me but not for thee".

What a disgrace to the organizers to have such a vile, repulsive individual address such an event. There’s a reason they didn’t have an advance copy/perview of his speech, because then they can feign ignorance of the direction and tone he intended to go with from the start. That way, when called on it later, they could say...well, no hurt intended, or whatever. Such phony, lying, deception. That’s what it seems to be anymore...lying, deception, degradation...it permeates nearly everything coming from the left in this country anymore.
I hope he repents his sins and turns his life over to Christ. Homosexuality results in a miserable existence.
