It’s a national disgrace.
“So how is it that the man ultimately responsible for this brazen theft and spectacular bankruptcy gets away with performing a perfunctory Sergeant Schultz “I know nothing” routine in front of his old Senate buddies, after which he is left free to walk out the door without handcuffs?”
“...his old Senate buddies...” Does no one read “Plunkit of Tammany Hall” anymore?
The founders would be so ashamed of us after giving us such a brilliant document intended to make government a useful tool of the governed we have allowed it to be used to bludgeon us.
They gave us a 2nd tool to use is the ballot box became insufficient to keep the government in check and once again we have allowed the Marxists in the DEM/GOP parties to erode our backup plan.
What a bunch of limp wristed pansies we have become.
While the Founders risked life, limb and fortune we are unwilling to risk losing Monday Night Football.
Don’t hold your breath ...
GASPARINO: Criminal Charges In Case of MF Global’s Missing Money Is Still A Possibility
Lisa Du|April 13, 2012
Charlie Gasparino at Fox Business News just tweeted that the criminal case in regards to MF Global’s missing money is still very much a possibility because prosecutors are weighing granting immunity to Edith O’Brien, a former assistant treasurer at the bankrupt brokerage firm.
At the most recent Congressional hearing on MF Global’s bankruptcy last month, O’Brien pled the fifth and declined to testifyso naturally everyone wants to know what she knows that could incriminate herselfand possibilty former MF Global CEO Jon Corzine also.
Gasparino said on Fox Business News that the issue of O’Brien’s immunity is coming down to the wire. He’s not clear on the exact timing, but prosectuors have been discussing it actively.

Part of the answer is jury nullification. Hide that you are an aware citizen, so you get on a jury. Then utterly refuse to convict the whale watcher, and other similar “criminals”.
We can’t force the Corzines to be prosecuted so easily,,, but we can fix some of the governments abuses of normal people.
Every element of Corzine's business is controlled and regulated he is supposed to know and follow the rules. So much for the rule of law and public trust.
Past and present Democrat officeholders lifetime, get-out-of-jail cards.
In the old days, before the MSM totally sold their soul to the Feds, they would have run stories like this night and day until the corrupt public officials were humiliated in to doing the right thing and dismissing such ludicrous charges. Now, of course, since the MSM is in the pay or the government, it focuses its energies and wrath on the powerless individuals in society such as Zimmerman.
Corzine is Obamah's Ken Lay, but our side is too scared of being call racist for criticizing the first Black President.
If I had to guess, it’s not that the powers that be have any particular love for Corzine - I mean they may have but what’s so endearing about him? (Well aside from cash lol).
Far more likely, IMHO, is that he knows where plenty of bodies are buried so he’s got a gold-plated insurance policy in that regard.
A former MF Global employee accused former president Bill Clinton of collecting $50,000 per month through his Teneo advisory firm in the months before the brokerage careened towards its Halloween filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, reports Human Events.
Teneo was hired by MF Globals former CEO Jon S. Corzine to improve his image and to enhance his connections with Clintons political family, said the employee, who asked that his name be withheld because he feared retribution, according to Hum/Events.
The Teneo contract with MF Global lasted at least five months, the souce said. The board cancelled it after Corzine resigned.
The source, who is no longer associated with MF Global, said Teneo is a dual-track company with one side devoted to merchant and investment banking and the other side set up to provide image and strategy consulting services.
Clinton is the chairman of MF Globals advisory board, reports Hum/Events.
