Romney is not that stupid.

I wish he was.

Myth has nothing to win and everything to lose by agreeing to such a debate, so it ain’t gonna happen.

Romney will never agree to it. He has no reason to. Newt’s campaign is broke, so why would he want to breathe new life into it?

Romney has nothing to gain, which is why he was already skipping debates.

This appears to be wrapped up, I can’t see Romney wanting to do this unless that becomes a good attention getting forum to attack Obama instead of each other IMO.

LOL, why would Romney agree to a debate?

Much as I’d like to see it, there is exactly 0% chance of this happening.

Since Mitt isn't likely to agree to any formal debate, Newt could always follow him around and "debate" Romney in absentia, as he said he'd do with Obama.

Nothing to lose, right?

Without the rest of the states like Iowa, Florida, New Hamphire etc. giving a darn about the other states that would also like to have a say in this process, Romney will probably get away with hiding himself and his views the rest of the way.

The other state parties won’t demand fairness for their sister-state parties.

The system is rigged and we all know it.

Your premise is fallacious. The race is not down to two candidates. Newt is not a serious candidate. Has not been for weeks.

It’s down to one.

So the rest of your claims are irrelevant.

Sorry, but Newt’s excellent debating skills are being drowned out by the loud sound of the fat lady singing.....

Since there will never be a Gingrich/Obama debate, maybe in the land of unicorns that some live in, the only one helped by more GOP debates will be Obama himself. The DNC thanks you for your suggestion.

Texas has been trying to get Romney to come to our debate
http://www.texasgop.org/posts/253-gingrich-paul-santorum-accept-texas-gop-debate-invite
The Texas GOP Executive Committee has demanded that he show up http://hardincountyconservatives.blogspot.com/2012/04/texas-gop-passes-resolutions-warning.html

Demand that Romney debate in Texas!
