I remember in high school (1972) people would read something like this and say, “people will never stand for that”. I would say, “No. This generation will never stand for that.”

TURN TO PAGE 651. Here you will find Public Law 87-297 which calls for the United States to eliminate its armed forces. This law was signed for the United States in 1961. John F. Kennedy signed it and every president since has worked to enact its provisions.

Cripes, did you take a minute to evaluate this screed and reconcile it against reality? Far from being disarmed, the citizens of this country have more guns than ever. And we have had military buildups for Vietnam and Reagan's efforts to end the cold war. These are simple, basic facts at odds with this rant - a rant for which I can find no working links.
