You know about the complaint many African Americans have about gay men and lesbians equating — in any way — their shared struggle for equal rights with the civil rights movement. Well, going hand-in-hand with that is an annoyance with the seeming one-way nature of the gay appropriation. In other words, the gays want everyone to understand their plight, but they do nothing to lend their voice and support when the blacks could use it.
That changed with the killing of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman.
On Monday, 23 groups representing the varied concerns of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people issued an open letter in support of Trayvon’s family and their quest for justice.
The tragic killing of Trayvon Martin is a national call to action. Our hearts go out to Trayvon’s family and friends for the loss they have experienced. We stand in solidarity with them as they demand answers and justice. We represent organizations with diverse lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender constituencies.
Many in our community have been targets of bigotry and bias. We have a great deal of experience grappling with the role bias plays in violent crimes against our communities. We well know the stories of young people targeted for violence just because of who they are: Rashawn Brazell, Lawrence King, Ali Forney, Deoni Jones, Brandon White, Matthew Shepard, Angie Zapata, Sean Kennedy and countless others.
Trayvon’s killing is a wakeup call to the enduring cancer of racism and racial profiling....

Him dropping out is a wakeup call for Americans to defend themselves.
I’ve seen a few replies hinting around that there might be more affinity than that, implying that all the juvenile misgyny on display in those Facebook posts was very indicative of rampant “DL” behavior, from the hiphop artists they idolize right on down the line to the teenagers mimicking them. To break it down, a lot of those wannabe “gangstas” are interested in each other.
Don’t have any idea if it’s true, but I have seen hinting around about this in various comments online, not all of which are all that conservative.
The DNC shall never focus on the economy.
They push for unemployment insurance while fighting jobs growth.
Bottom up, top down, inside out.
If the scenario doesn’t occur on it’s own, then create it.
This is the method of revolutionaries, and it is revolutionaries taking advantage of, manufacturing and perpetuating negative human emotion in the death of an every day criminal.
This is going to be repeated until the desired result is achieved or until they are forcefully stopped.
The “gays” are going to look FABULOUS in their hoodies. LOL!

Thought question: what if Trayvon Martin actually RECEIVED “justice” on the night he was killed? What if getting killed was his “just reward” for assaulting Zimmermann?
Do these “abusers of themselves with mankind” and effeminate REALLY want “justice”? What if “justice” means they burn with fire forever?
No, I think what they quest after isn’t justice, it’s special treatment and license to do what they know full well isn’t right.
