The defenders of Obamacare, it is pretty obvious, don’t intend to stop with dictating that you buy insurance, and what kind of insurance, and how much you must pay. They want a nationalized health care plan like Great Britain’s. Obamacare is a step, albeit a big step, in that direction. So, what would it be like to put the government in charge of your health care? Isn’t that British system wonderful? Not exactly. How about over 2 years and almost 40 gall bladder attacks before surgery could be scheduled?
OUCH! over and over! Now fighting for the pain pills that she has become addicted to taking!
Or how about waiting six months for emergency surgery only to die after two?

Yep, I have Trigeminal Neuralgia. It is extremely painful crainal nerve disorder. I was able to get an appt with a neurosurgeon within 6 days. I was reading a Trigeminal Neuralgia patient support forum and there was a women in the UK that said her appt with a neurosurgeon is 18 months away!
Darn, I think I remember we had a big fight to get away from the “trolls”!

My grandfather had TMN. It was know colloquially as “the suicide disease”.
The taxes that we pay here in England to keep the NHS afloat is about 4 times more expensive then a premium health insurance policy, plus the standard of service provided by the NHS is substandard to say the least.
The government is funding our healthcare, so they take a great interest in our health, that's why we have some of the most ridiculous health and safety laws in the world.
Please go google “ridiculous health and safety regulations in Britain” Americans haven't a clue, you think OSHA is bad.. You've seen nothing yet!

Why not nationalize IT? People have a right to good working computer networks and software, don’t they? Why not nationalize all farming, or dairy? People need to eat and children need milk, don’t they? Why not nationalize the film industry? People have a right to affordable entertainment, don’t they? Why not nationalize the legal profession? People have a right to have the same kind of legal representation OJ got, don’t they?
