Youve just tripped and fallen down a rabbit hole. You now find that up is down, left is right, nothing is as it should be. Are you looking through the looking glass in Alices Wonderland? Nope! Youre in Wisconsin, my friend.
Wisconsins Republican Gov. Scott Walker was elevated to his position upon his promise to clean up the state, reduce the stranglehold of the public workers unions and balance the budget. He has kept his promise. Proving once again that no good deed goes unpunished, hes now the subject of a recall petition.
One of the bills he signed into law last year was a state voter ID measure requiring that all voters present valid photo identification before entering the voting booth. Gov. Walker is an enthusiastic supporter of voter ID laws to prevent voter fraud.

Hell, you can’t buy Sudafed in TX without a photo ID.
We need to flood the DOJ with claims of discrimination everytime we are asked to provide ID
All voting for local and national office should be held at BANKS!
They should implement the same system as our banking system, where EVERY transaction ties out to the PENNY.
Vote ONCE with ID, the transaction is recorded ELECTRONICALLY, and you also submit a piece of paper to BACK UP your VOTE (for any audit).
Vote is electronically tabulated to a central County Voter Bank for the county, and then reported to the STATE Voter Bank for the State Result.
All votes are reported in REAL TIME, so no one or no region reports “Late”.
I am so glad I dont live in Wisc. or California!! They added a box on the application for judges in CA that asks their sexual orientation!
Glad I don’t either but thanks to the Supreme Court we have to accept their immoral ways as being “normal”. Use of the commerce clause to spread indecency is one of the biggest mistakes made by the court. Soon there will be no “santuary” states or cities where one can openly be a Christian and lead a moral life without being persecuted. It’s time to organize and fight back or America will be lost for generations.
This is absurd. One needs a photo ID to do almost anything in this country today. Why should voting be different?
Tell me about it. It’s nuts!
Works for me! I have to do it at least twice a day!
I agree, there are so many ‘systems’ out there for other transactions that work, why not apply them to voting. Here we frequently get election results way into the wee hours of the morning, and then find out about missing votes, etc. It’s not rocket science.
And by the way, you have to show ID to get into my neighborhood. Does that mean everyone who lives here is racist?
Perfect idea! The public sector learning (if they are indeed capable of learning) from the private sector.
This would also eliminate the problem with Stalin’s oft-quoted remark: “It doesn’t matter who votes; what matters is who counts the votes.”
Thanks to Holder you can add Texas to the list.
Re: CA sexual preference - This is nuts!
If elderly or infirm people are having their constitutional right to vote denied because they are unable to get a photo ID (a real shaky proposition), then every other instance where they’ve needed a photo ID to obtain some service can be called denying them their constitutional rights. It’s too ridiculous to believe they can’t obtain one, since they’ve needed a photo ID for a multitude of services. Dems just want to be able to cheat at the polls with impunity.
And, no news reports of exit polls or results are broadcast until the last of the polls has closed. Don't let them (the RATs) know how many votes their RAT owned bank has to steal or create!
I agree - it’s all a sham. I had to get tests at the hospital last week, and the first thing they asked for was photo ID.
Photo Ids are mandatory to vote in an an SEIU or AFL-CIO election.
Berkley and Columbia both require Photo IDs just to attend an event on their campus.
Want to visit the Statue of Liberty?
Guess what you will need.
