The truest of conservative political pundits argue that, as a Presidential candidate, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is just Obama in a Reagan suitand, thus, even as the longstanding frontrunner in the primary, he cant seem to close the deal on getting the nomination.
To this point, most of the critical attention hes receiving has to do with his record on social issues. But, as Larry Pratt, executive director of the Gun Owners of America (GOA), points out, Romneys moderate inclinations and flip-flopping habits are converging on the conservative staple issue of gun rightsleaving folks like Pratt very concerned...

Romney, pompous jackass he is, thinks all Americans should be disarmed to make him feel safer. He is an elite, effete, snob.
I think its time we start concerning our time, effort an cash into taking back the senate an keeping the majority of congress .
Mitt Obama is no different than Barack Romney IMO. Look at Massachusetts gun laws. That is the real Mitt the twit.
Look at the records people..... Don’t listen to promises from a polidiot ! How did they vote...what did they sign or veto.
Never trust a polidiot ! Never !
Romney will offer, at best, vague expressions of support for hunting. Any Court appointments he makes will be hoplophobes.
While you are right to question Romney’s record. Ownership or non-ownership of a firearm does not in and of itself tell you a person’s position on the second amendment.
I am, with two specific exceptions, an absolutist on the second amendment, preferring Vermont/Alaska style concealed carry and opposing any registration of firearms at all.
But I don’t own any guns and probably won’t anytime soon.
Romney has 100s of millions of dollars, and estates scattered around the United States.
Romney has been running for office and talking gun issues as a Republican for almost 20 years.
In 2008 Romney even claimed to be a gun owner, but he had to finally admit he was lying, by the way Mitt became a lifetime NRA member in 2006.
It doesn’t surprise me that a regular Joe that supports gun rights never got around to spending $700. 00 on a pistol, or a shotgun for shooting trap, but Romney has zero money issues, and for him to not have ever ended up with a gun, actually would take some effort on his part, some dedication.
That is similar to the fact that no Romney man has ever served the united States in uniform, a history going back at least 170 years, even the draft has not snagged one, that takes some effort to protect that record.
The Willard is a line bred, drooling lobotomite, gun grabber. He has stated, on occasion, that he hunted squirrels, and then backed away from that radical, daring affirmation of our God-given rights. He wouldn’t know an assault rifle from a Ruger 10-22. How stupid is he? Stupid enough to believe he can score above 30% of the base in the general election with a [Schmucky Chucky] Shumeresque understanding of the Framers’ intent. Just to nail it down for The Willard [he’s line bred slow, dontcha know] when the Framers enshrined the 2nd Amendment, they told the world that a free republic can ONLY survive with its citizens heavily armed. Got that, Willard, you fricking changeling.
Holy Cow!!! If true, that is really ugly. As for the manner in which The Willard fled from military service during VietNam, he spent several years in France, purportedly exempt from the draft because he was performing his mormon missionary duty. He has been vague about the exact details of his draft dodging, but rest assured that if we are fated to have him as a nominee, those precise details will be made very clear by the mainslime media and the rest of the chimp's cabal. Tell us, Willard, how did your 'missionary duty' in France, no less, instantly make you a 'Minister', just for purposes of evading the draft in time of war, of course.
Agree !
Well stated.
Stay safe !
Well Duh! Why do you think he doesn't want people having them? Statist asshat. (Wrong-me, not you)
