No it wasn’t. Once she said who she voted for it became a public vote and a form of endorsement. Maybe not an endorsement speech at a rally, but an endorsement nonetheless.
And that is why she said who she voted for. If she had remained silent about who she voted for, it would have been a private vote and there would have been no endorsement implied.
This is quite black and white, and it all rests on whether she made her vote public or not. i.e. Private vote = not an endorsement. Telling people who you voted for (with no other clarification) = endorsement of the person you voted for.
And Sarah would be an idiot if she thought telling people who she voted for would not influence anyone. I’ve talked with her at length. She is no idiot.
