Don’t you wonder why he used non-LEO volunteers instead of his own paid professional LEO investigators? It is hard to imagine, for example, that anything his “posse” produces could be legally presented to a grand jury. The fact is he deliberately choose NOT to use his real law enforcement powers.
I find it odd if he was actually serious about solving a real crime.
No I don’t wonder at all. He made it clear why in that he did not want to spend taxpayer money on what looked like a politically motivated investigation. Now he has probable cause and he can use his own detectives and powers.
He can do a number of things now using state resources that would have been inadvisable to do before. He’s playing the game perfectly.
But how he is playing the game is not the issue, it is the evidence he has revealed and the MSM reaction to it that is at issue.
They are LEO. They are retired LEO’s, and he used volunteers so nobody could shut off funding to make the issue go away. Which shows he really WAS serious about it.
And if you had listened to the presentation you would have known that they DID use real law enforcement powers, because Mike Zullo said the only way they were able to get the postal stamp to mutilate in duplicating the draft registration stamp was through the powers of Sheriff Joe’s office. He also said it was very disturbing to him that a stamp with such restricted access had been used in a forgery. I guess that tells you that not all “paid professional LEO investigators” can be trusted to be honest...
The posse found probable cause and recommended a full criminal investigation, with all the powers that entails. Before law enforcement can get warrants, etc they have to show probable cause so this posse has just already done that part for the paid LEO’s.
Of course, trying to cut down the messengers doesn’t change the evidence that’s been produced, but I guess that’s what people do when they can’t refute the evidence that’s been produced.

Odd? You find everything about the birthers odd. Your posting history since you joined on 1/28/12 reads like a one trick pony.
Why would the use of retired LEOs, with hundreds of years of cumulative experience be odd? Why would the pursuit of the truth with unpaid volunteers, thus saving the taxpayers of Maricopa Counth expense, be odd? Sheriff Joe's entire term of service is replete with examples of saving taxpayers money.
If the truth of Obama 's fraud is staring you in the face, will you find fault with those who bring the facts to you, or will you find fault with the conclusions?
