The United Nations General Assembly approved on Thursday a resolution calling for Syrian President Bashar Assad to resign and turn over his powers to his deputy.

I’m surprised they were able to pass a resolution that also didn’t call for the end of Israel.

Anybody who doesn't see the threat to our sovereignty in this resolution is blind.

The United Nations General Assembly approved on Thursday a resolution calling for Syrian American President Bashar Assad [FILL IN THE BLANK] to resign and turn over his powers to his deputy.

Like turning things over to his deputy would improve anything. I'd bet they're just drooling to get Assad to stand before the ICC.

Yes, that is what the Admin would like to use it for, my point is that the UN resolutions mean nothing as history has shown.

You mean, the Palis have had their panties bunched over a non-binding resolution for 63 years? Oh, but we didn’t wait around for the resolution to do its work for us, as the present one is designed to do.
