There seems to be a pattern emerging in the Holder Justice Department: DOJ employees committing crimes and very little seems to happen to them. I’m not just talking about the questionable testimony under oath of Attorney General Eric Holder or Assistant Attorney General Tom Perez. I’m talking about theft, graft, child porn, bribery, and perjury. The fact that very little ever seems to happen to DOJ officials who purportedly commit the crimes tells you a great deal about the leadership of the Obama DOJ.
Matthew Boyle at the Daily Caller has this explosive story on DOJ officials taking bribes from people they are investigating. Yes, you read that correctly. More:
A U.S. Justice Department source has told The Daily Caller that at least two DOJ prosecutors accepted cash bribes from allegedly corrupt finance executives who were indicted under court seal within the past 13 months, but never arrested or prosecuted.
This means DOJ lawyers, criminal prosecutors, are accused of accepting cash from the people they were investigating. But it gets worse. Eric Holder knows about it and is doing nothing:
The bribed officials, an attorney with knowledge of the investigation told TheDC, remain on the taxpayers’ payroll at the Justice Department without any accountability. The DOJ source said Holder does not want to admit public officials accepted bribes while under his leadership.
Eric Holder is both incompetent and ideologically radical. You cannot have a more toxic mix atop the Department of Justice. As I mentioned, this is not the first instance of crimes being allegedly committed by DOJ officials where nothing happens.
Consider the case of perjury inside the Voting Section. Hans von Spakovsky has this story regarding repeated perjury during a DOJ Inspector General investigation. Sources tell me nothing whatsoever has happened to the person. The Washington Times also had a story about a DOJ employee using government funds to travel to Florida to meet a girlfriend, to the tune of at least $30,000. DOJ sources tell me this person received a tasty buyout package.
What happens to assistant United States attorneys working in the Eastern District of Virginia who surf child porn at work in the Obama Justice Department? Nothing.
The Justice Department is supposed to represent the finest ideals of law enforcement. Under the Obama administration, we have multiple instances of high and low officials inside the DOJ allegedly engaging in criminal activity. Yet there is no accountability.
Perjury, bribes, graft, more perjury, in the United States Department of Justice. This is rot of the highest order. It, frankly, trivializes most of the shocking and disturbing facts I reveal in my book Injustice. I suppose that’s what book sequels are for. You can be sure the American people will become familiar with the details before the election in November. You can be sure they won’t like what they hear.

Not to worry. The DOJ crooks are just leading the others, like the baggage thieves at TSA, by example.

I wish columnists would stop referring to Holder and Hussein as incompetent.
I’ve watched most of the F&F Hearings. He is slicker than Bent Willie. If Holder was caught by ten witnesses with a smoking gun over a dead body, I’d only give 50/50 odds on conviction.
Holder is deadly effective.

I agree to a point. Like his boss, Holder is an accomplished liar.
They are both blatantly in-your-face when it comes to ignoring the law, that’s not smart because at some time they’ll trip themselves up with someone who has the cajones to nail them.
Sadly it hasn’t already happened.
