No question in my mind that Gingrich had the best answers tonight, but this (to me) was the best point of the debate, an undressing of one (Romney) who says one thing and does another. Santorum set the trap and Romney stepped right in it.
Santorum did wonderfully. While he can’t debate as well as Newt, he’s so genuine, and til now no one else has been able to get mitt on the ropes like he has. He had mitt stammering tonight, saying things wrong. I loved his “just answer the question.” he was firm and in control.. He’s a strong conservative with a pair, and he’s not in love with himself.
He’d make a better President than Newt.
