All women in the West should be protected by Western law; being born to a Muslim family or married to a Muslim should not strip them of ordinary legal rights and protections.

Unfortunately, this is not happening just because of some misguided attempt at “tolerance” on the part of the authorities. “Multiculturalism” is essentially part of an effort by the authorities to replace the rule of law with arbitrary rule.
