By the way, all the people of Medellin are very proud of this escalator and will take good care of it. This helps them be able to get to work and take care of themselves much more easily. It’s an improvement to the infrastructure...and not a liberal project per se. It’s a cultural difference that many here cannot understand. Hard work is praised and encouraged there. People are very proud that they DO for themselves.
