But there are things that a person can be wrong about which disqualifies his other ideas and that person from further serious discussion regardless of the merits of those other ideas. Ron Pual is in that class.

Ron Paul is insane.
Zo has been fighting the good fight for several years. He holds nothing back. I’ve won over several libs sending them Zo’s videos and book.
Ron Paul is zany, indeed, but he’s still deserving of better than to be equated with a scumbag, Communist, bigot like Jeremiah Wright.
I find it hard to characterize Paul as being “on the right”. Most of his positions are libertarian/leftist, though paleo-con isolationism is one of his loves.
There’s much more to being on the right than wanting to cut spending and being pro-life.
His whacko conspiracy theory side conflated with America-bashing is the biggest turn off. The man has a tenous grip on reality.
As far as RP is concerned just because some yahoo can occasionally tell you the correct time by looking at a clock does not mean in anyway, shape, matter, or form that they are some how qualified to be President of the United States of America.
Paul IS a right winger. What make you a left or right has to do with your economic ideology, not your social views
It is possible to have a socialist who have conservative social views e.g Islamists, which make them left wingers, not right wingers, which is why the Left tend to be sympathetic to Islamists. If Islamists were capitalists, the left would hate their guts

Paul is anti-Israel and arguably anti-semitic.
He is similar to Jeremiah Wright in that neither will get my support.
