Newt deserves a serious consideration for who and what he is TODAY. While still far from perfect, as we all are; he is orders of magnitude better now than in the past. I believe he has the vision to do everything he can to return our Nation to it's Constitutional origins.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. The ‘establishment’ GOP makes me sick. I have had enough of their candidates. Weak sisters, dull as a thud: Dole, McCain, GWB, etc. That is not to say that these weren’t decent human beings...like romney...
I like Newt.

IN JUST ONE WEEK, WE KNOW THESE ABOUT NEWT:
1) He is for Obamas payroll (social security) tax cut extension on LIBERAL grounds that philosophically, you cant keep Bush tax cuts for the rich and not extend social security tax cuts
2) He is against Romney earning money in the private sector working at a capital firm and equates that to him peddling influence for Fannie/Freddie
3) Takes military option off the table vis-a-vis Iran by claiming a military strike is pure fantasy
4) It comes out that he worships FDR (probably more than God?)
5) He loves Andy Stern the SEIU guy

In spite of anything Newt may have said in the past, when he was lightyears away from being POTUS, I believe we are dealing with a completely converted Newt at this point. You mean the Newt who spoke yesterday characterizing Romney's work at a venture capital firm as "bankrupting companies and laying off workers", which Krauthammer said you would "expect from a Socialist"?

Did I miss anything else? You'll hear plenty more before Iowa. The Tea Party is quickly getting up to speed on the Pied Piper of Politics, and when they do, I don't think they will want to play the part of the hypnotized children in that famous story.

The next President will either repeal Obamacare, fire the Czars, cut taxes and spending, etc,. and set us on a path toward recovery and prosperity, or he will preside over the conclusive slide of our Nation into bankruptcy and oblivion.
All that and the MOST important thing he needs to do is protect SCOTUS. Two, maybe three justices will need to be appointed. We already know what type of Justice Obama will appoint!
So no matter who it is who becomes our candidate, we need to be sure Obama does not get another chance to totally end our republic as it was passed down by the divinely inspired founders.
If we get two decent justices, all the rest we hope our candidate runs on will be doable. If not we are done.
So this time vote for SCOTUS!

Newt is worse than Juan McMcain and he is very deceptive about his true inner core beliefs. If we were disappointed with some of George W Bush’s liberalism on some big government spending, Newt WILL break your heart!
To: Mark
Is there a dimes worth of difference between four more years of Obama and four years of Newt? Not much from what is being uncovered relative to Newts big government tendencies.

I agree with you there.
Newt may be unpredictable and situational, but I don’t think anybody would doubt his patriotism and that he will do whatever it takes to save his country from self-destruction.
I think both Perry and Newt have that much in common.

I will vote for any Republican against Obama.
I will not vote for Gingrich and Romney in the primaries.

Not to my knowledge. But you may want to check. He was, however, against Newt.
I’m for Perry so I am not unbiased. :)
