Perry sounded promising until he opened his mouth. I can’t support any amnesty friek or fanatical opponent of enforcement. Newt and Perry (and Huntsman) are the ones openly on the wrong side.

Oh, and I don’t like to be called racist, inhumane or heartless either.

Perry is the one. His flat tax, energy plan and jobs plan will set America on the right course again. He is pro-life and will close the border. He has the whole package and his campaign team definitely gets it.

I’m liking what I see and hear out of Perry. I trust him more than Newt.

Perry may win one primary state: Texas. Newt will sweep the rest of the south and west. Milt will win some northeastern states and maybe a few in the midwest.

I hope all of you Perry Fanatics don’t waste too much of your hard earned money on Perry donations.

Amerika will not vote for Bush III. We really didn’t like the last two.

Folks, please don't delude yourselves here; especially you Perry supporters. The template has been set by the Left, and they've proven they will indeed beat us.

Seems i remember a good many Perry supporters getting behind the Left-Wing smear job on Cain by Politico. Yep, many of you were saying: “These allegations against Cain are a distraction, he needs to drop out.” You see, to many of you, it really didn't matter if he was guilty of anything or not, it was simply that the allegations were made. To coin the familiar Leftist charge: “It was the seriousness of the charge.”

I'm hearing several Perry supporters say things like: “The media already went after Perry; there's nothing more they can bring against him.” Oh really? Nothing ever came about from the first four women in Cain's past. Did the media just go away and leave him alone? Heck no! They brought out a another woman with an equally seedy background.

If you Perry supporters thought the Leftist’s first attacks on Perry were harsh, you haven't seen anything yet. That will look like tiddly winks compared to what he's in store for should he surge in the polls.

I'm hoping to see the Perry supporters who got behind the Politico hit piece on Cain, to be be equally supportive when they shred your guy. The knife cuts both ways when you decide to lay down with these dogs in the media!

Perry’s strong suit is that as president he will wake up every morning and plan new attacks on overbearing federal regulators.

Although opposed to his illegal tuition stance, some of his announced initiatives are about the best I’ve heard so far:

1. Get control of the border. I think he means it.

2. The energy policy he announced.

3. The post card/20% flat tax option.

4. The part-time congress concept.

5. Eliminate or significantly scale back departments of Energy, Education, and Commerce.

He is really ticked over 10th Amendment issues and I think he is serious about scaling back the scope and power of the feds over the states.

I think all of these

Perry is in my top tier. I think he would have a 50/50 shot to beat Zero, but I don’t think he can beat Newt. Whatever you think of him, Newt is a known quantity and cannot be redefined. Perry can.

A comment I made over at Redstate:

One thing that seems to get lost is that it’s not just what the candidate says, but how he says it. The later is where Perry has – and continues – to fall on his face. I think some here get so hung up on the substantive that they forget the importance of the superficial. We are talking about the general electorate here. Many are not political junkies or policy wonks. So to them that superficial has a lot of impact.

I watched Perry on Huckebee’s forum last night. His performance – especially during his closing – was at times cringe inducing. It didn’t matter what he was saying. It was that he almost tied his tongue into knots at times. If you want to see exactly what I mean look at this video at the 1:55 mark where he talks about making congress a part time congress:

Link to Video

My reaction when watching that was “Come on man, spit it out!”

Another thing that is particularly grating is his pronunciation of legislator – legislaTORE.

This is not a rare problem with Perry and it’s a serious one, He will continue to perform like this because it’s part of who he is. If you don’t think that this will have a profound impact on the general electorate then you are fooling yourselves.

For this reason alone, Perry would get creamed in the general.

Sorry guys, but as we sit here this A.M. and post on this thread, the Left-wing attack machine is in full destroy mode with their sites set on Perry. I'll wager you stories (allegations) are being created right now.

Remember, Cain had nothing but allegations made against him, and he's history...finished...gone!

The Left have succeeded in two ways:

1) They've proven that all it takes is allegations (with no hard proof) to cast doubts in the minds of voters...especially conservative voters

2) They've learned that that they can entice conservatives to join in their hit pieces if it helps the other “conservatives” candidate.

To those who cheered Cain's decision to drop out of the race; you did so not realizing this spelled our doom for 2012. The Left have succeeded in not only removing Cain from the race, but also proving that mere allegations are enough to destroy our candidates.

When "conservatives" decided to join in and accept the Left's allegations on Cain (Media hit-Piece) our fate was sealed. Perry and Newt are next. The Media taste blood in the water. We can blame no one but ourselves. I cannot believe we just handed them the victory in 2012.

While not a Rick Perry fanatic - and I live in Texas - here is how I see it.....

Rick Perry is for America.

Newt is for Newt.

Just sayin’......

Unquestionably Bachmann is a more consistent conservative than Perry.

Perry’s fine with an authoritarian approach to “save lives” if his backers want a Gardasil mandate. He’s a TTC globalist if that’s what his backers want as well. And don’t get me started on illegal immigration.

Bachmann has weaknesses of her own, but conservative inconsistency and big-time cronyism are not two of them.

has done their appointed task, clearing the way for 0B0Z0's choice (Romney - 0B0Z0 lite)
so now they can play the (racist card & rich mans' envy) DNC playbook...w/o any (media) hindrance, @ all.
