Huckabee denies endorsing Romney

Rumors ran wild that Mike Huckabee was allegedly set to endorse Mitt Romney.

In response to those rumors, Huckabee snapped to Jake Tapper during an ABC interview, "Nothing of the sort--the 'source' is an uninformed total idiot. Quote me. Where do people make up stuff like this out of the thin air? ...Plain and simple. Someone has more time than brains on his hands."

It appears that people are simply putting the cart ahead of the horse. Ideologically Huck lines up more with Bachmann, Santorum, Cain, possibly Perry and with 3/4 of Ron Paul. Clearly Huck is not in aligment with Huntsman or even Mitt. But what he is saying that if Romney becomes the GOP Primary nominee then we have to hold our nose and vote Mitt, who is better than Obama.

Remember last Presidential cycle? Huckabee dropped out to support McCain, who was another Romney. But that was after giving it a good run himself first.

The infamous quote that got the former Arkansas governor in trouble was this one from an interview with Aaron Klein on WABC Radio in New York...

There were several FR threads this week that Huckabee had said ‘the Tea Party should support Romney.’

That may not be an endoresement, but it leaves little doubt the direction Huckabee is leaning toward.

LOL, this is poetic justice. In the last election the huckster called Mormons some terrible names but now if he wants to have an invite to the White House in 2013 he’s going to have to eat crow and kiss a Mormon’s righteous behind.

Huckaby, the Huckster is the socialist from Arkansas who loves illegals.

So yes the Huckster has a lot in common with Romney.

Huckabee is not that far from Romney ideologically (he’s not called Huckafeller for no reason), but remember, he and Mitt dislike each other. The Huckster joined forces with McVain 4 years ago to knock off Romney.

Romney and his GOP-backstabbing lying pro-Soros RomneyBOTs
ALWAYS lie about their contrived, fabricated,
fake endorsements.

THIS WAS ANOTHER typical false Romney claim.

What a LIAR ROMNEY IS.

Romney will never be POTUS so you must mean someone else.

"Despite outspending his rivals by huge margins throughout the primaries,
(Mitt Romney, Carpetbagger UT,CA,MA,NH,Mexico) lost Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and California.
The only primaries he won were in Michigan, where Dad was governor; LDS states;
and a few states on Super Tuesday in which his California-obsessed rivals
couldn't spare the cash to advertise.
Only John Connolly in 1968 had a worse cash-to-delegates ratio.
And John McCain rightly did not like Romney's tactics during the primaries.
(W)hen (Romney's early leads) started slipping away, he resorted to unfair,
distorted, scorched-earth negative ads, betting that his opponents couldn't
afford to spend enough for the truth to catch up to his charges."

I was talking social issues more than fiscal. Huck was in a very poor state and supported too many liberal fiscal bills, unfortunately.

Yes, that is a matter of concern.

I want to believe the best about Huck. Hope he stands strong on this matter. Time will tell.

Admittedly, that is one of Huck’s weak areas: Immigration (along with some fiscal issues).
