Well to me it’s not very conservative to propose giving the Feds a national tax, higher than many state taxes now. Sorry I just can’t quite bring myself to approve of that.

We’re to just trust old Herb that 9% won’t become 12% next time the dems get a majority?
And we’re to see it as a good thing to add another way to be taxed, instead of replacing the income tax with a sales/VAT stype mechanism?
