Actually it’s not our “leaders” you have caused jobs to be shipped overseas, it is the Unions.
I volunteer where I see people on food stamps, cash assistance, all types of other assistance yet they live in nice homes and their kids have all the latest clothes and gadgets. Many with housing assistance from HUD, NY state health insurance.
I don’t get it— have they lowered the threshold to where you get all these benefits? Also, I don’t think (not sure) in NY you have to claim child support as income. I’ve seen couples that still live together but lie so the mother gets benefits— it happens a lot.
At my daughter’s school, there is free tutoring before or after school for those that get free lunch. I guess the assumption is if you qualify for free lunch, you and your family are stupid.
Also, in NY, keep having a baby every 4 years and you’re set— don’t work, collect benefits, and when the first one reaches school age, have another. Don’t have to work again.
That’s is one of the BEST one’s I’ve ever seen.
And people are wondering why, eh?

Does anyone on Free Republic happen to know off-hand how many times in the past the Italian government or Greek government has collapsed?
I know this won’t be the first time for either, so I see no reason to panic. Just glad I’m neither Italian nor Greek.
