Perry's A Doer Not A Talker

Texas Governor and GOP presidential contender Rick Perry is trying to turn his poor performances in recent debates into an asset with a new campaign ad in Iowa. The money line: "If you're looking for a slick politician or a guy with great teleprompter skills, we already have that and he's destroying our economy. I'm a doer not a talker." With that blistering yet incredibly accurate depiction of President Barack Obama, Mr. Perry may have found the perfect way to redeem himself with the party's first voters.

Just because you’re a lousy debater doesn’t mean you ain’t slick, Rick.

No no no! Let’s elect someone who has spent all their time practicing speaking in front of people instead of doing anything.

There are Obama Rat trolls here on Free Republic masquerading as conservatives.

These trolls have a clear intent to bring down republican candidates who have risen in the polls. Obama Rat trolls should be identified and outted.

First with Bachman, then with Perry, now with Cain (and of course, always with Romney), the Obama Rats use a deceptively simple approach.

They camp out on a thread that seems to support a candidate, Cain for example.

They use one-liners and ad hominem insults to attack that candidate, while implying that they support another candidate, for instance, Perry. Then when one visits the Perry threads, that same poster rarely, if ever, appears. When he does, the appearance is luke warm, and mainly directed toward tearing down some other candidate. When challenged, the Obama Rat trolls avoid supporting the candidate they imply that they support.

In addition, the Obama Rats seem to use many of the same talking points, often referring to Mike Huckabee, or some other candidate from the past. They use virulent attacks on individual posters, who disagree with them, to try to drive that poster off the thread.

One need only research the history of comments from suspected Obama Rats to see the pattern.

Obviously, we each have different views on the candidates. Those differing views are worthy of debate.

However, unless a poster starts finding positive points with a candidate, any candidate, with as much vigor as he tears down other candidates, then he is just another shrill Obama Rat troll, not worthy of debate. He should be identified and outted.

Do not underestimate the Obama machine. The following link compares the relative internet capability of that machine utilizing paid staff on Twitter to the significantly lesser capability of each of the republican candidates. Is it even reasonable to presume that the Obama Rats would not have the same capability to influence Free Republic?

He has been a doer.

For the open borders agenda.
And any crony capitalist with a big sack of money.

He had the opportunity to stand before the American people and explain how these things were not so.

He couldn't pull that off.

Probable nobody else out there could have defended his record either, so it is not that he is a bad debater. Just that his record is indefensible.

I totally agree with you.

There is not one candidate in the race I wouldn’t vote for. Some are better than others. But all are light years ahead of Obama.

While I don’t mind constructive criticism of any candidate, the ad hominem and ruthless repeats of cliches are not helping any conservative.

Sorry Rick, we need a real doer AND a talker. If you can’t explain yourself, your positions and why your way is better than anybody else’s, then you’re NOT qualified for the job. Besides, I live in Texas and frankly, you’re not conservative enough for me!!!

Last thing we need is another ambiguous Texan presidential candidate who can’t talk his way out of a paper bag.

Perry gets things done. Unfortunately it’s rarely in the interests of promoting constitutional based conservatism. He’s not so much a talker as he is a first class bull s*&tter and con artist.

Perry does lots of things. He creates a welcoming environment for illegal aliens. he accepts hundreds of thousands of dollars in free luxury travel and gifts for himself and his family from mega donors and special interest groups in exchange for political favors.

Rick Perry is very resourceful.

All we need to know about Perry follows:

<><>Perry gets things done. Unfortunately it’s rarely in the interests of promoting constitutional based conservatism. He’s not so much a talker as he is a first class bull s*&tter and con artist.

===========================================

Perry is on all fours, all puckered up, sucking away at voting the blocs he figures will elect him.

Singing of the Mexican ntl anthem and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to Mexico is in Texas schools. Look for Raza studies that indoctrinate youngsters abut those awful Americans oppressing poor, starving latinos, and the need for revolution to take back what America "stole" from them (recently taught---then removed---from Arizona schools).

Texas has Sharia Law Courts in its justice system and at least one triumphal mosque on Texas soil.

God knowas how many insider deals Perry's made these hyphenates to advance his political ambitions. Destroying America in the process of climbing the political ladder does not matter to this rank opportunist.

This video showing an inebriated, giddy Perry is going viral. The equivalent of the campaign-ending Dean Scream.

Perry is a doer alright.

He seems to have a problem that is incurable.

That’s just plain weird. He reminded me of Dubya, Rich Little, with even a bit of Richard Nixon thrown in. Who knows, might be jet lag, might be uppers, might be Southern Comfort. Somethin’ just ain’t quite right. I just thank heavens he ain’t gonna be President.

Thanks for the link-——and how about the Perry Big Buck donor who got his own govt regulatory agency?

Checkout the report-—The Governors’s Gusher.

And Matt Taibbi’s Rolling Stone article——”Perry: The Best Little Whore in Texas.”

Not to mention his son Griffin Perry gets a big job at UBS at the same time Perry is making a lottery sale deal and talking to UBS.

And then there is this.

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=griffin%20perry%20gets%20ubsjob&source=web&cd=7&ved=0CEsQFjAG&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.businessinsider.com%2Fgriffin-perry-2011-10&ei=QQSvTrD0MIKjiQKL-7Ac&usg=AFQjCNHT4frlwx3CFZUy5ckxHEY16AkaXw&cad=rja

Geesh, everything about this guy smacks of major cronyism.

It is embarrassing.

And there’s Anita’s govt job——heading Texans Against Sexual Assault-—which gets govt grants from Rick’s office (later surfacing in numbered offshore accounts?).

Special interests better pony up to TASS IF they want to influence Rick.
