I agree with the vets that want to defend the 1st and 2nd amendments... the day we do not defend the rights of those that do not agree with us..our rights will be gone too

Look at it this way: crazy times like these bring out the real crazies, who sense political or personal opportunity in any crisis. This is a big reason to CAREFULLY VET volunteers! You can bet that left-wing crazies would love to volunteer for Herman Cain now, for example, to later shame him by their association.

Well I can't disagree with that. Now all we have to do is apply it to men, so that "women's rights" don't trump mens rights. Otherwise women will continue to be able to have men arrested on mere hearsay, as is done in many cities and corporations now, as well as win all sorts of immediate judgements in divorce and custody battles, financially destroying men and cutting them off from their children merely because of their sex. Isn't that just terrible?
As well as support for 1st Amendment rights protecting people against punishments for violations of political correctness, of course.
I'm sure we agree on all these things.
