I spent a few months in Afghanistan suporting a sensor porgram that the Marines use. Even before the repeal of DADT, there has been a push within the Marines and other services to normalize homosexuality in the services. I pciked up a former co-worker of mine at the Dubai airport, as he was making his way back to the states for the delivery of his 2nd child. He had a 7 hour layover so we went into town to get a bite to eat and chat over a couple of beers. The things he told me that were going on in Afghanistan, with regards to sexual mis-conduct amongst the troops, turned my stomach. If Americans were to find out what their tax dollars are really paying for in the military, they would march on the capital and burn it to the ground. I'm a former Marine and I fear for my country.

What exactly did your friend tell you? (Note: I do know that the Marine Corps has been reaching out to the gay community recently, which turns my stomach and makes my blood boil!
