There is an absolute gulf separating them. It is a mistake to confuse the Christian virtues of generosity and sharing - an expression of Charity - , with Communist non-private ownership of the means of production.
Sharing is not communistic. Sharing is a Godly virtue. Communism is Godless. But we all bear the likeness of God in some measure, and that by necessity.
I'm not trying to start an argument, sorry if this post sounds abrupt. But it is a very important distinction.

Communism - a theory advocating elimination of private property
