Other than Texas, I don’t know a single state Perry leads in. Where did you get the 20 number?
Educated guess. Pure conjecture at this point, because I don’t have the data.
I’m guessing that Perry at present leads:
TX, NM, AZ, CO, OK,
KA, AK, LA, MO, KY,
TN, MS, AL, FL, WY,
ID, MT, ND, SD, IN
Romney, likely everything else at this point.
For sure we know that Cain is ahead in 4 states. He may be ahead in more, but for now I’m going to be pessimistic in that estimate until we do have numbers in his favor.
If my supposition is correct, and despite being even on the national poll with Perry with only 4 states then it is likely that Cain is second in all, or almost all of the Romney states, and may be second in all the Perry states as well.
So we shall see as more polls come out. NE is a pleasant surprise, and shows that Cain isn’t limited to the south or border states, and is getting solid support in the midwest.
