You definitely speak as one who has seen this in real life. I certainly have; and everything you say is true.
I haven’t seen it in my family but we have all seen how it has played down in public events. Remember that NY Republican candidate who said something critical of gays and then had to eat his words because his nephew was gay.
There have always been gays around, though I don’t think they were as plentiful as they are now, but back then people tried to hide it as something shameful which it is. What’s next, are the child molesters going to start a movement and then recruit their families to defy morality and take their side?
