Tonight's Saturday Night Cinema is 9/11, the day of horror caught by chance by a French film crew documenting the 9-month rite of passage of a newbie firefighter. Instead, we witness firsthand the actions the heroes who gave their lives to save their countrymen in the worst-ever attack on American soil in our nation's history. Jihad had come to America. This is a searing historical document. I have seen it many times. It shakes me still and reminds me how monstrous and evil the enemy is.
Also, please see also the documentary on how the victims trapped in the World Trade Center were forced to choose their method of execution, burning to death or jumping. Watch here: 911 The Falling Man

The "Falling Man"
A couple of comments from the direct Youtube link:
"I was 3 years old in 2001. In a way, I'm glad I didn't have to experience the horrors of that day, but also I kind of wish I had, so that I could truely understand it. This year... being 13 years old I think I get it a lot more. I really feel like I know more about it this year. I'm glad I watched this (even though I was shaking through the beginning) because now I see how terrible that day was. RIP to all who died that day- workers, tourists, or just people trying to save the others.

I'll be watching it tomorrow.
thank you for posting.
This is an EXCELLENT documentary, I am so glad it was made.
Not re-polished for political correctness. Just sort of stream of events.
The French documentary crew found themselves in the position of a lifetime as they were on site doing a different documentary when 9.11 happened.
Highly recommended.
My pleasure
I watched this on HBO years ago and have it on VHS. This one I may watch tomorrow.
Jules Naudet: ‘oly shtte!
Ted: We were on the roof of the Marriott, there was parts all over the *ing place; legs, feet. It was nasty... It was raining bodies.
Tony Benatatos: A lot of guys don’t know if they’re gonna do the job any more. I know it’s either this or the Army now. And I like saving lives. I don’t like taking them. But after what I saw, if my country decides to send me ... to go kill ... I’ll do it now.
Some of the jumpers at the WTC towers. The ending shot has the two people holding hands.

The international pictures of makeshift memorials after 9/11.
I saw some of the German ones. Outside embassies and military bases. They were left up for a long time, especially the flowers.
