If this refers to Linda Evans who was on Dynasty a generation ago, I’d guess her primary career problem is she no longer is a young babe. Movies aren’t made for old people any longer, so not many roles for an actress in her mid-60s. And when there are such parts, Meryl Streep has dibs. It’s a lot more dangerous to get in Meryl’s way then it is to merely be a conservative. She will cut you.
Linda can’t complain though. She had a great run. I believe she get naked with Joe Don Baker once in “Mitchell”.
Liberals can afford to be political all the time because they do not need to hold real jobs, they do not need to be productive and they do not think they have to spend time with their family.
Conservatives (and productive citizens) put family first, career/success second and then get around to politics if they have the time.
I'd like a link to that supposed defense before I believe it.
