Definite DERP material, oh yes.

Maybe the town should just lynch the SOB since the DA won’t do it. Why let that tyrant run around assaulting people and threatening to kill them.

While I can’t condone violence, I’d like to know how he’s lasted this long too. My guess is “thin blue line” syndrome, a sea daddy clouting for him, or a combination of both.

Oh shoot. Wait, can a mere citizen use that word?

Criminals have long hair, and cops have short hair —the rest is the same.

I've often said that criminals are just the folks who couldn't make it thru the police academy.

The gun was legally acquired, possessed and transported, correct?

This loudmouth needs a mental readjustment. If I was his chief, I would take up a cheap "Travelocity" plane ticket money collection to Alaska and let him work some highway Patrol up there until he gets "guns" and "civilians" out of that pee brain.

Can’t say for sure, but I believe this guy is a typical LEO suffering from “Roid Rage”. Steroid use is rampant in most Law Enforcement Agencies. It’s something that nobody wants to talk about, but it’s a fact.

I believe “Roid Rage” may have also been one of the factors that led to the Fullerton PD killing the homeless man.

Actually, this might help him. He could argue the fact he’s threatened so many people but never actually hurt anyone, is proof he’s just a harmless blowhard.

Unbelievable that this guy has had 18 formal citizen complaints filed against him and he is still on the force.

Sadly, it is quite believable.

“As it turns out, Harless is no stranger to internal affairs investigations. He’s apparently been cleared of 18 of them since 2001. But despite these issues, Chief Dean McKimm has claimed that “there was no evidence Harless was a problem.””

How many non-government employees would escape the ax after *eighteen* investigations as to their professional behavior?

If P is the probability that Harless is acquitted at any given hearing, then the probability he is acquitted at 18 out of 18 hearings is P18. The calculation is left as an exercise for the student.
