So much for the Perry Apologists and their claim that Perry was not for Amnesty.

There are Perry-bots, just like there were Bushbots. They aren’t concerned whether Perry is conservative or not, just the same as they weren’t with Bush.
They are a RINO infestation.
To: SoConPubbie
As a Palin supporter you are going to soil yourself when she endorses him.

I am voting for him. This is a lib democrat attempt to scuttle his being the party’s nominee. Talking point coming from the DNC and Axelrod. Good work DemoBots

Amnesty as a big issue is soooo yesterday. Most conservatives don’t consider it very important.

Let’s start again from scratch — immigration reform should include sending all illegals back to place of origin and all new legal immigrants should bring something to contribute, i.e. skills, instead of just an empty hand.

Why do these pinheads think we need "comprehensive" immigration reform? The lowlifes in the government won't enforce the immigration laws that are on the books now. Why bother creating more of them? That's just stupid.
Just say NO to drugs.

I just puked on my keyboard and now have to go to Best Buy for another. Anyone that is for amnesty cannot love America and her culture as much as I do... I mean that is one of the most repulsive thoughts about the state of our Republic. They ignore our laws and refuse to secure our borders. The Fed's number one mission... defend the Republic... number two... enforce the law... they have failed us in every way possible.

Nice try but your B.S. is
not going to fly.
Perry is NOT, has NOT BEEN for amnesty & Bush/McCain "pathway to citizenship."
What was Perry REALLY saying in '06/'07, contemporaneous with your hit piece, compared to what you want people to think?
Taken from NumbersUSA (they do not like Perry):
In A December 2006 editorial, Gov. Perry wrote: "I would rather know who is crossing our border legally to work instead of not knowing who is crossing our border illegally to work. A guest worker program that provides foreign workers with an ID removes the incentive for millions of people to illegally enter our country. It also adds those workers to our tax base, generates revenue for needed social services and it can be done without providing citizenship."

In his February 2007 State of the State address, Gov. Perry said: "Ultimately, the best way to crack down on illegal hiring practices is for Congress to finally pass a guest worker program. A guest worker program recognizes the contributions of foreign workers and captures their income in our tax system, ensuring they contribute to the public services we provide them. And a guest worker program will help us know who crosses our border legally rather than not knowing who crosses our border illegally."
