Abbottabad Neighbor Claims Bin Laden Raid Was Botched

According to a close neighbor who watched the alleged US raid on Osama Bin Laden’s compound from his rooftop, the operation was almost immediately aborted because of a helicopter crash that killed several people, eyewitness testimony that completely contradicts the official narrative put out by the White House.

Mohammad Bashir lives a stone’s throw away from the purported Bin Laden compound that was raided on May 1. In an astounding interview with Pakistani news channel Samaa TV, Bashir describes how he watched men land in the helicopter and enter the compound. However, in contrast to the official story, Bashir then claims the helicopter exploded and killed the men as they were re-entering the chopper to leave.

Bashir said that the men who landed in the helicopter spoke Pashto, an Iranian language spoken in Afghanistan and Pakistan

US officials admitted that a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter that was involved in the raid did crash into the walls of the compound, and wreckage of the chopper was shown. However, authorities denied that there were any casualties.

In a BBC News report, Orla Guerin interviewed dozens of people who were adamant that Bin Laden did not live in the compound, with none of them ever witnessing him or hearing rumors that he was there in the five years that Obama claimed Bin Laden was a resident in the town.

“It’s all a fake, nothing happened,” said a newspaper seller who has been working in the town for 50 years.

I find this account reasonable and more likely to be truthful than what US or Pakistani Govt. says.

This man says his cousin who used to help for gardening in the house is his cousin and is under house arrest by security agencies and no body has been able to talk to him.

One helicopter came first from which 10-12 people landed into the alleged house of OBL. This helicopter did not land. Instead it kept hovering the area, Some of the people who landed came out to the nearby houses and threatened people to keep doors closed and said they will be shot if any one came out. They were talking the local Pushto language. This man was on the roof and witnessing the event disclosing in front of his eyes. During this time he was lying on the roof and looking towards this compound.

A few minutes later 2 more Choppers came from different directions one from north and one from west. The first chopper which was hovering came down to land in the compound which is very bid. Immediately there was a blast in the chopper and people rushed to the scene. There were nearly 100-200 people who went to this scene and watched all this.

On the scene there were pieces of chopper and dead bodies. The other two choppers left immediately and none of them ever landed so there was no chopper which landed successfully to take anything or any person away. They even did not pick their own people which they dropped earlier. The chopper which came from the north went south ward and one from the west went to the north.

Some of the parts of chopper even landed on his rooftop. Amy personnel arrived after this blast and pushed the people out of the scene.

I already knew it was a botched raid and that Damage Control was really doing the news. You can’t have a helicopter crash and no one gets injured…..too much horsepower not to!

I agree with you completely. The entire “raid” was most likely some type of political stunt by the Obama administration... They got a lot of political brownie points. Obama’s disaproval rating dropped and is only just now getting back to what it was.

OBL almost surely met his maker at Tora Bora. It was not politic to allow that he was dead because the screams from Congress and MSM would have made the whole Afghan war untenable from that point. The Left would have been screaming that the objective of the war was accomplished- OBL was dead therefore we had to leave there NOW. Because the whole war had been cast in the eyes of the people by the Left and MSM as simply an operation to get OBL the people were judged likely to join the clamor. OBL was NOT the object of that operation and his death could not be allowed to abort it.OBL was never an all powerful Joker whose demise would end the Islamic offensive and Revenge was not the US policy or goal. This year it was deemed politic to "kill" OBL so that the kenyanmugabe would have more options. His "death" would not set up a necessity to cease operations because the Left is now running things and don't need that issue.

During The Tora Bora period the CHinese and Indian presses reported information that OBL and Omar had been shot by a faction in their HQ staff and that OBL was dead. Subsequently every time a "communication" came from OBL the CIA said "it could be..." and then was silent.

Explainable as "fog of battle" observation. There's nothing in Mohammad Bashir's account that would contradict the official story - other than men being killed.

From what the post-raid photos show, it looks like the helicopter lost lift and crashed, with the tail segment coming down on the other side of one of the compound's walls. In all likelihood the helo was still manned after the crash, since its door guns would still be serviceable.

Men reentering the downed helicopter at the conclusion of the raid is consistent with the need to place thermite charges to destroy the forward fuselage. Again, something that is evidenced by the post-raid photos.

From the sound of it, this Bashir guy is speculating on a lot of stuff that, while consistent with what happened, is consistent with a number of alternatives as well.
