I wouldn’t say that Obama is irrelevant. His signing of Obamacare and his EPA are real threats to freedom and our economy.
As to his importance relative to Europe’s crisis, I don’t know how to judge that. A strong leader might give confidence to the world. He is anything but strong in places that he can not exert his control through executive order, Unions, etc..

Not only should he resign but the top two leaders in both houses from both parties should resign. Their handling of the spending crisis, and economy in general, has been horrible.
